A surrounding area full of inspiration
Villages in the back-country at the east side of the lake “Schweriner See” offer you the possibility to experience Mecklenburg from its most beautiful view.

The “Sternberger Seenland” (landscape shaped by lakes) is the youngest natural park in the north of Germany and stretches from the town Neukloster in the North-West to the Schweriner Lake.

Nature protection areas secure the habitat of animals like beaver, kingfisher, osprey, crane or otter which are threatened with extinction. These areas give holiday makers an insight into the intact nature.

Bridle and walking paths lead to wonderful spots in the region. Villages with small churches and nice farmhouses are an inspiration for the soul.

The open-minded inhabitants are looking forward to welcome their guest from close and far away. To enjoy some recreative holidays this unique landscape leaves nothing to be desired.
